Technical support staff and production engineers support skilled production and assembly personnel. You’re assured the highest quality as well as quick response.

Our in-house machine shop helps to support low volume production runs. It also gives us the flexibility to offer excellent turn times for prototypes and premium deliveries.  We shear, punch, bend, weld, and braze materials such as: aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and cold rolled steel daily. Lathe and mill machines are constantly utilized to provide complete machining of plastics, aluminum, brass, copper, and all steels. If off the shelf hardware does not meet our needs, we manufacture it!

The equipment and knowledge we have attained over 45 years of making the highest quality EMI filters has helped us build our contract manufacturing business to a reliable solution for low to medium-volume jobs. From reverse engineering circuit boards to brand new designs, Captor will see your project through to completion.

Captor designers and engineers use the latest software to concisely layout products.  When necessary, detailed drawings are generated to provide clear and concise assembly instructions. 3D Cad, 2D Cad, PCAD, and other software programs are used to provide such direction.

An advanced shielded room with an all-welded design offers dependable pre-compliance testing to applicable specifications. Captor engineers can also test products that are failing a specific test parameter and design a filter that will eliminate the noise causing the failure.

Our Quality Department subjects every product that we manufacture to rigorous inspections. These inspections include:

  • Material Inspections
  • Dimensional inspections
  • Electrical Inspections IAW the Acceptance Test Procedure
  • Customer specified burn-in, environmental, mechanical, and/or additional requirements
