Military EMI Filters We Focus On
At Captor Corporation, we offer various single-phase and three-phase EMI filters for military applications. Our electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters meet MIL-STD-461 specifications for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
We design our COTS AC and DC single-phase EMI filters to meet MIL-STD-461 CE102 standards for mitigating conducted emissions from 10 KHz to 10 MHz in power lines. With feed-through capacitors, they can maintain up to 1 GHz filter attenuation and above with added shielding. These filters comply with electrical requirements and meet the maximum capacitance to ground limits for power line frequencies from 50 to 400 Hz in Navy applications. Their encapsulated assemblies and mechanical constructions can withstand harsh environmental conditions found in ground, sea, and air applications.
These power line filters feature similar properties as the single-phase configuration but in a three-phase Wye design. These filters can be installed with additional shielding to isolate output and input compartments for optimal filter attenuation. Additionally, they can be supplied with military connectors for I/O connections, circuit breakers, and Metal Oxide Varistors upon request to adhere to system level requirements.
We design our COTS 120/208 VAC three-phase Delta EMI filters to meet MIL-STD-461 CE102 requirements for mitigating conducted emissions from 10 KHz to 10 Mhz. They are available in 5, 15, 30, and 50 Ampere designs for 120/208V alternating current. Compared to Wye filters, Delta filters can meet three-phase design specifications without a neutral line attached to the common-mode inductor.
Our COTS 254/440 VAC three-phase Delta EMI filters meet MIL-STD-461 CE102 standards. Available in 5, 15, 30, and 50 Ampere designs for 254/440V alternating current, these filters can be used to reduce electromagnetic interference in a wide range of military equipment and applications that produce EMI up to 10 GHz and above.
